Initially the task, purpose, intent, subtask and limits need to be defined. This framework sets out the project to be undertaken. Additionally, a risk assessment is completed to assess and mitigate the health and safety risks apparent in both the project and the application. Scratch Systems will only undertake projects where the risks of the Automated Device have been mitigated to a low level.
Scratch Systems works with clients to define the task and get an agreed project definition together for collaboration. Technical feasibility is only initially assessed at this stage. Existing solutions and complementary technologies are also identified for inclusion to isolate the key research and development areas.
